Hey guys! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I hope you all had a fantastic holiday season and a great start to 2017! I was lucky enough to return to one of my favorite cities here in the United States to enjoy the holiday season!

Nashville, Tennessee!

This was actually my second time returning to Nashville, my first time being earlier this year, but that didn’t make it any less exciting!

I knew this time would be different as everything would be decorated for Christmas and I love seeing places decked out for the holidays! What better way to get in to the spirit of Christmas?

If you’ve ever thought about traveling to Nashville, I’d highly recommend it! It’s a wonderful city and packed full of interesting things to do!

My first night I decided to check out the Grand Ole Opry House (pictured right) and the Gaylord Opryland Resort (pictures below) since they are literally right next to each other.

I had visited both places before and the Gaylord Opryland Resort’s Garden is one of my favorite spots in Nashville so I knew it would be a great time! Besides, it’s literally a huge ass garden in the middle of a huge hotel! How awesome is that?

The Gaylord Opryland Resort was decked out with more lights, trees and decorations than I thought there would be! It was absolutely stunning! I posted a couple thumbnails of some of my favorite images, just click on them to blow them up to full size!

I had already taken a tour of the Opry House so I just explored the Christmas lights outside of the facility this time around as you can see from the picture above.

My second favorite thing about Nashville is the food! I haven’t been to a food joint yet that has let me down in Nashville.

They have unique places like the Rainforest Cafe which as I’m sure you can guess is decorated as a rainforest and includes animatronic animals such as gorillas, tigers and hippos.

While the food may not be the best food in Nashville, the atmosphere is cool and it’s a neat place to check out if you want to see something unique.

I haven’t been to many restaurants that are decked out as an Amazon Rainforest so it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re visiting the area!

I love sushi!

Unfortunately, where I live there really aren’t any good sushi restaurants. I didn’t really expect much in terms of a sushi restaurant in Nashville since they aren’t really a state with access to the freshest seafood, however, I was pleasantly surprised by a little sushi joint called Wild Wasabi.

The sushi was phenomenal and the staff was friendly and attentive. If you’re craving sushi in Nashville, you won’t be disappointed by this little sushi joint!

Lastly, it wouldn’t be a trip to a city if I didn’t get a couple pictures of the skyline! I’m obsessed with city skylines and try to get shots of the skyline of every city I visit and since I just got a new Nikon Camera I knew I definitely needed to get some shots of the Nashville skyline!

Hope you guys had a great end to the 2016 year and I’m looking forward to an even better 2017! Happy Travels!
