Writing a book has been a dream of mine for a while although I’m not 100% sure why!I’m not really interested in making money through writing, instead I think it’s just more of a bucket list item…I mean, who doesn’t want to be able to say, “I’m an author!”51cwq3pfGRLNaturally, we I decide I want to do something and have no idea where to start I pick up a book on my Kindle and start reading, thus the book How to Write a Nonfiction eBook in 21 Days – That Readers Love was picked up off Amazon!Written by Steve Scott, I decided to go with this particular book based off the following reasons:

  • High Average Reviews
  • Inexpensive
  • Nonfiction – The type I want to write
  • I like books that offer a time-frame of how long to complete it. Keeps me motivated!

Okay, so we know why I bought it, my reasoning for purchasing this particular book, now what are my thoughts on it?It’s an extremely easy read and does what it promises. It gives you an outline for writing a nonfiction eBook in 21 days. Honestly, I did not learn one new thing from this book that I didn’t already know when it comes writing a book. In fact, in the past when I’ve tried sitting down to start writing a book I pretty much followed the outline the book gives and I bet most people would do the same.

  1. Brainstorm ideas for a book
  2. Create an Outline of Chapters and Subchapters
  3. Write the introduction
  4. Use the outline to help keep you organized to write each chapter
  5. etc…

However, even though I knew most of the information I never completed a book…why? Simply because it’s hard to stay motivated! That’s why I think books like this are worth the money. They give you a goal to chase. Instead of just sitting down and trying to bust out what seems like this huge task, the book outlines steps to take to accomplish a small bite each day.In this aspect, the book does a fantastic job and I believe will really help you stay on task and complete your book in 21 days.So if you’re looking for a cheap way to give yourself some motivation to stick with your goal of writing a book and you want a book that outlines the steps you need to take to do so and does it well, I’d highly recommend checking out Steve’s book as I think it will help you.Has it helped me?Well, I haven’t completed my book yet, but I’m the farthest I’ve ever been in completing one! However, it hasn’t been 21 days yet but so far I’m on track!
