Streamers everywhere are starting to ditch their webcams in favor of using either a DSLR or Mirrorless camera system. Using a digital camera allows you to get much higher quality for your livestream and helps differentiate your stream from the millions of others out there streaming on Twitch, Mixer, Facebook Gaming or YouTube.
More importantly, upgrading from a webcam to a digital camera system like the Canon EOS M200 not only allows you to get a much improved facecam, but also allows you to create content on other platforms which is 100% needed in 2020 if you wish to actually grow your livestream!
Just streaming on platforms that unfortunately don’t have any type of discoverability options and not taking advantage of the algorithms on social media platforms, like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, etc., will not cause you to grow and increase the number of viewers you receive on any of the livestreaming platforms currently.
This video we take a look at what I feel is the best entry-level mirrorless camera you can get at the start of 2020 that not only will upgrade the quality of your facecam on your livestream but will allow you to great looking content for any social media site as well. Up until this point, the only real option was teh Sony a5100, however, with the release of Canon’s new EOS M200 the game just changed. Now for ~$500 you can get 4k in an entry-level camera with one of the best auto focusing systems ever created by a camera company.
In this video I’ll explain why I think it’s the best option on the market and show you clips shot with the M200 to give you an idea of what you can expect from this little mirrorless camera!
I’d love to know your thoughts in the comments below! Thanks for watching and I hope my video helps!
